Original air date: Thursday, March 04, 2010
    Episode Description:
“Do not lie; and do not do what you hate, for all things are manifest before Heaven.” … Jesus the Christ, The Gospel According to Thomas. It may seem difficult at times to face what is, but it’s simple, reliable and always doable. The path of what ought to be might look better at first, but it leads into the woods of deeper and deeper confusion.
  • Episode: Stand on the Promises
Original air date: Thursday, February 25, 2010
    Episode Description:
“Some people know how to get on top of their burdens—and turn them into platforms.”  … Ashleigh Brilliant. Recovery from addiction is a good start, but real freedom and peace of mind come from letting go of the problem. The promises of the Spirit are not the entitlements of the recovered addict. They belong to the one who can now see that they were never the one who had the problem in the first place.
  • Episode: Spirit's Got a Better Idea
Original air date: Thursday, February 18, 2010
    Episode Description:
Co-create: verb, cause (something) to happen as a result of shared actions. How’s it been working for you, taking co-responsibility for and bringing into existence all that you need to experience your innate bliss, peace and freedom? Before assuming your co-creation is with Spirit, you might want to check on the whereabouts of your ego.
  • Episode: Will You Be Mine?
Original air date: Thursday, February 11, 2010
    Episode Description:
“Love consists in this: That two solitudes protect and touch and greet each other.” … Rainer Maria Rilke. Love is so dangerous. It has the instantaneous ability to heal us, to return us to that conscious state of bliss, from which once we could never have imagined we would ever forsake. Yes, love is dangerous. Right now it can take our pain away, our breath away.
  • Episode: Stop Looking for What's Not Missing
Original air date: Thursday, February 04, 2010
    Episode Description:
“Just remain in the center, watching. And then forget that you are there.”  … Lao Tzu. We are freed to experience full joy and passion just by realizing the madness of how we choose to suffer instead of feeling it (bliss). When we no longer need to look for what’s hidden, there’s no more need for concealing it.
  • Episode: Present Moment Pilgrimage
Original air date: Thursday, January 28, 2010
    Episode Description:
“The chief use to which we put our love of Truth is in persuading ourselves that what we love is true.” … Pierre Nicole. Knowing the Truth that frees us is a simple matter. The challenge is to be willing to see how and what we’ve been compulsively clinging to instead. Freedom happens when our accepting the Truth takes precedence over the drama of pursuing it.

    Episode Description:
“There’s a saying among prospectors: ‘Go out looking for one thing, and that’s all you’ll ever find.’”  … Robert Flaherty. Creativity is more than looking for a needle in a haystack. It’s considering how many more needles you might find and what other surprises you might discover in the searching. Life has far more to reveal to those who just won’t settle for limited intention.

Original air date: Thursday, January 14, 2010
    Episode Description:
“An age is called Dark, not because the light fails to shine, but because people refuse to see it.” … James Michener. Darkness isn’t real. Light is. Even a small crack, allowing light to pour in, will expose everything. What’s easily visible becomes hidden when we block out the Light Source. So to see the Light of Truth and the wonders it offers us, we need only release our grip around the beliefs that are shielding us from seeing it.

“Any fool can make a rule, and every fool will mind it.” … Henry David Thoreau. It goes like this. We are well. Something happens. We make it into a problem, getting stressed over it. To deal with the stress, we overcome the problem so that we can be well again. Why not skip the middleman, i.e. the stress of problems, and just stay well?
  • Episode: Big Dogs
Original air date: Thursday, December 17, 2009

“Life is too short to be small.” … Benjamin Disraeli. There is no basis for enslaving ourselves to disease, depression, poverty or any negative condition—only a false, fragile self-image that seeks to conceal the sheer magnitude of our presence. We’re big dogs on this planet. We don’t have to worry about what comes nipping at our feet.

We can’t control what happens, but we do have a lot of latitude for allowing our interpretation to change. It can be as simple as noticing that what we’re trying to make happen simply won’t. Spirit is telling us that we’re looking for a door that’s already open, but down an alleyway that’s closed.

From working the steps to walking upon promises. Freedom is real when we can’t remember our steps for the wonder of where they have taken us. Original air date: Thursday, August 27, 2009
    Episode Description:
The genius of the 12 Step Community fulfills itself. NOW is when ODAT [One Day At a Time] is This Moment, when what we came to believe is what we NOW accept, when Faith has right-of-way o’er familiar misgivings, when time in recovery defers to immediate freedom in Being. It’s put up adventurously or shut up predictably until our powerlessness makes clear that proceeding along as an object of insanity is no longer a manageable program.

    Episode Description:

Original air date: Thursday, June 04, 2009
    Episode Description:

When we stop identifying with the compulsion to be doing, we’re immediately present and available to experience being led by our Purpose. St. Francis prayed, "Make me an instrument of Thy Peace." Original air date: Thursday, April 30, 2009
    Episode Description:
The hardest part of living within the perfect flow of life is accepting that it is okay for it to be this way for us. Fulfillment is always possible. When we’re available, it is available. • Episode: Tell Me a Story
Original air date: Thursday, April 23, 2009
    Episode Description:
We avoid the reality of what is presently before us by making up stories about what we believe it to mean or hope to condition it into. Original air date: Thursday, April 09, 2009
    Episode Description:
When we’re looking for miracles, it's wise to look for the signs of their happening rather than the evidence of their failure. We see what we’re willing to open our eyes to whether it’s the same old scenario or the immediate change in reality that we’ve longed, hoped and prayed for.
  • Episode: A Conversation with Jonathan Evatt on Being
Original air date: Thursday, April 02, 2009
    Episode Description:
In this episode, Dale is joined by Jonathan Evatt, a contemporary mystic, yogi, and spiritual pragmatist residing (primarily) in Aotearoa / New Zealand. Original air date: Thursday, March 26, 2009
    Episode Description:
In the dream state we can be aware that we’re dreaming and participate consciously in the dream. It’s called lucid dreaming. We’ll be discussing whatever Spirit serves up as the main course today. Feel free to call in and spice up the menu. Relationships? Addiction? Prosperity? Health? Sexuality? Listen in as Rev. Dale opens a direct line into our shared passions and spirit. It’s our life and program.
  • Episode: Does God Do Anything About Evil?
Original air date: Thursday, March 12, 2009
    Episode Description:
If God is everywhere-present, all-powerful, and of the nature that is all-good, how is it that we think we believe we can transgress Divine Order? And if we don't believe that we can adulterate God's Universe, then what is all the hubbub about the need to change ourselves, other people and earthly circumstance? And if everything is acceptable as it is, are we to just accept expressions of evil, incivility and all forms of inflicted pain and suffering? What would that look like?
  • Episode: Jump-Start Your Possibilities
Original air date: Thursday, March 05, 2009
    Episode Description:
Many believe that Jesus was a master because he knew how to walk on water, heal the infirm, multiply fishes and loaves, and so on. To believe that he knew, therefore he could, is to miss his point altogether. He performed beyond human understanding because he was willing to answer the moment's call into it, trusting that his Father (God, Spirit) would do through him what he had no reason to assume he could do of himself.
  • Episode: Explore What Makes You Different
Original air date: Thursday, February 26, 2009
    Episode Description:
When we feel that we don't fit in with others and their thinking, we can go two different ways with it: try our best to limit ourselves and the other within the narrow common ground we see or explore our uniqueness with faith and free of expectation that we'll discover a much larger arena to relate within.

Original air date: Thursday, February 19, 2009
    Episode Description:
Listen in as a caller works live with Rev. Dale using the process of “inquiry” (developed by Byron Katie) to investigate a chronically repetitive belief. Through inquiry, we're able to examine false beliefs outside the subconsciously defensive thinking that keeps them frustratingly hidden and actively in place. As we see clearly the reality of the lies we believe in, they lose all power to affect us.
  • Episode: What’s On Your Mind?
Original air date: Thursday, February 12, 2009

In the course of this program, I have addressed many ideas outside the box of mainstream spiritual practice. What is it that you would like me to explore live, on the air? Don't be shy. • Episode: Viewing Your Art From a Proper Perspective
Original air date: Thursday, February 05, 2009
    Episode Description:
Most difficulty with life has to do with getting lost within our perspective. We paint a picture of life with our mind and memories, one with forms and expectations that we're familiar with. And then by the magic of belief, we place ourselves (attach our identity) within the art we've just crafted. Freeing ourselves from it seems insane until we realize that all we have to do is climb back out of the picture.
  • Episode: Solutions Need Problems
Original air date: Thursday, January 29, 2009
    Episode Description:
Problems cannot exist without our intention for them to be so. What might happen to them and us if instead of trying to solve them, we committed ourselves to watching them until clear, spontaneous action either defined itself or actually moved us within the flow of their meaning? Might we discover our perspective changing from recognizing a familiar problem to realizing a whole new possibility?
  • Episode: Letting Your Fear Free You
Original air date: Thursday, January 22, 2009
    Episode Description:
It is not that you must be free from fear. The moment you try to free yourself from fear, you create a resistance against fear. Resistance, in any form, does not end fear. What is needed, rather than running away or controlling or suppressing or any other resistance, is understanding fear; that means, watch it, learn about it, come directly into contact with it. We are to learn about fear, not how to escape from it."—J. Krishnamurti
  • Episode: Transcend How You Define Your Existence
Original air date: Thursday, January 15, 2009
    Episode Description:
It is imperative that you open your heart to the very real sensations of hurt, sorrow, or outrage summoned by you by circumstances in the dramas in which you play a part. In so doing, you pave the way for the reintegration of a missing piece of your own being whose life theme may be the embodiment of those very responses, and who strives from his depths to transcend them.—From Oneness by Rasha.
  • Episode: A Fair Assessment
Original air date: Thursday, January 08, 2009
    Episode Description:
We can be so critical of ourselves for failing to become who we were not created to be. As we release attachment to the past and projection into the future, we discover that all along, within each moment, we have been exactly who we were born to be. In this awareness we can realize what the Universe has always known, that there's so much about us that is so worth celebrating.
  • Episode: A Joyous, Present Moment Christmas
Original air date: Thursday, December 18, 2008
    Episode Description:
Christmas has more tradition associated with it than most any other day of the year. We can meet the potential flood of memories and streams of expectations that this holiday engenders from awareness in the Now. In so Being, we not only release ourselves from impossible expectations, we realize the joy and peace of Christmas Present that neither Christmas Past nor Future ever delivers.
  • Episode: Questions We’d Be Wise to Consider
Original air date: Thursday, December 11, 2008
    Episode Description:
Is it possible that the limitation of my experiences might be due to the misdirection of my intentions? Could I be drawing erroneous conclusions by asking of myself far too limiting questions? Is it possible that the answers I seek might be easier to find if I was looking in the right place for them? Creative inquiry is a direct portal into seeing and releasing the restrictive beliefs that keep reproducing unfulfilling experience.
  • Episode: Everybody Wants to Change the World
Original air date: Thursday, December 04, 2008
    Episode Description:
But few want to know what really requires changing. Human incivility is based upon our collective agreement that some conditions can warrant objectifying another (or ourselves) and applying inhumane solutions. Until we face this lie, even the most well conceived activism will be impotent towards real change.
  • Episode: Surrender to Immediate Circumstance
Original air date: Thursday, November 20, 2008
    Episode Description:
Freewill is often championed as the quality of mind that allows us to change life circumstance. This seems perfectly valid until we ask the fundamental question, "Does circumstance need to be changed?" The reality is that to change a situation, we have to first believe that something's wrong with it and then suspend observation of it while choosing how to manipulate it. What's wrong with this picture?
  • Episode: Jesus' Teachings & Biblical Commercials
Original air date: Thursday, November 13, 2008
    Episode Description:
Jesus was a master teacher of Being. His teachings and acts of forgiveness, healing, prosperity, freedom, and peace of mind are clear, consistent, and transforming; however, in the Bible his authenticity is sometimes twisted to affirm early church doctrines. It's empowering to be able to distinguish between his authenticity and the political commentary if we wish to know him as a kindred spirit and guide.
  • Episode: The Difference Between Consciousness and Spirituality
Original air date: Thursday, November 06, 2008
    Episode Description:
Much of what's labeled as being spiritual is the avoidance of what's difficult about being human. The focus upon spirituality can be the very way we avoid Being present with our Spirit. Like the "Tower of Babel,” we can mistakenly task our minds in constructing a replica-state of Being that distracts us from releasing ourselves into the already present real thing. Wrestle this topic with Rev. Dale Blackford.
  • Episode: Indifference: Many a Spiritual Sojourner's Drug of Choice
Original air date: Thursday, October 30, 2008
    Episode Description:
Indifference is a creative form of unconscious mental subterfuge designed to support our sense of egoic-mind attachment, the continued generation of ongoing, compulsive mind chatter, the perceived necessity for problem-solving, and the maintenance of pain, suffering, and drama.
