This week we explore a Wednesday evening talk given by Charles Fillmore on February 20, 1924. It is entitled “Holy Communion.” The talk focuses on the traditional view of Holy Communion as well as the Unity view. Quite surprisingly, Fillmore states, "So you can see the Catholic Church is in a measure right.”  He also says, “You take it [the Life of Christ] in on faith, and there is the preparation of your understanding. You understand what substance is and how it works. There is only one substance. Our bodies are all made from one substance, and when we get into that substance we are all members of the body of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the more we think about that the more we come into that and that is the Holy Communion.”
 
In The Revealing Word, we start over again with the entry on “God.” We explore the first  three paragraphs. The emphasis in this sharing is noticing how the definition of God bounces back and forth from an anthropomorphic God to “God is not person but Principle.”

This week’s Charles Fillmore talk was delivered on January  13, 1924, and is entitled “The Work of Spiritual Ideas in Sense Consciousness." It is based on Genesis 47:1-12 in which Joseph’s family is permitted to come to the land of Goshen by Pharoah. The key concepts is that we must allow our higher spiritual consciousness to enter into sense consciousness without becoming a part of it so that sense consciousness may be redeemed, regenerated and brought to a higher plane. Fillmore stated at the end of the talk, “Let us remember this lesson and apply it definitely today in restoring our bodies to spiritual consciousness, bringing them out of mere material sensation into spiritual activity through the power of the Lord Jesus Christ, our great brother, our great pioneer in these mighty realms of Spirit and matter, because Spirit and matter are unified in the one who understands the divine law.”

In the final segment, we turned our attention to The Revealing Word where we explored from “generic” to “God.”

This week we explore a talk given by Charles Fillmore on “The Authority of the Divine Feminine Restored." It was delivered on January 16, 1916. Fillmore focuses on the Divine Feminine in two ways. First, this is a talk directed at men to listen to their wives and the importance of man having a woman in his life to have access to her intuitive knowing. Second, he shares that each of us have the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine in consciousness and so, metaphysically and metaphorically we must be using both aspects to produce a good life. He states there is a law: “The Law is that the feminine quality shall go into every affair of life. It is necessary.” Fillmore also speculates that Jesus had a wife and it was Mary the sister of Martha. He says, “We cannot escape the conclusion that Jesus Christ himself had a wife.”

In The Revealing Word, we explored from “gate, narrow” to generation.

This week we review a talk given by Charles Fillmore on July 28, 1921. The title is “Faith: Preamble to the Christian Business Man’s Constitution." It includes a reading of the preamble and affirmation statement. Both formed the basis for the way in which Unity conducted the business side of its ministry. This model would serve today’s business world. Fillmore says, “So you must make up your mind that you must give value received for value given. You must render a value for the good that you get from this omnipresent life, substance, intelligence and power. And in our work we start fundamentally with that proposition that all things are here, waiting for us to appropriate them, to enter into ths great storehouse of the Infinite Mind and take whatsoever we need.” Notice Fillmore says TAKE whatsoever we need and not ask. This is because Infinite Mind is made up of Divine Ideas and we must take and appropriate them in order to use them. Fillmore also emphasizes the importance of being in loving service.
 
There was no sharing from The Revealing Word this week due to the length of the article.

This week’s talk, "Forgiveness," was delivered by Charles Fillmore on October 29, 1924. It begins with a short explanation and example of “that something that jumps up inside” and seems to give us ideas. Fillmore calls this “the higher self.” He says, “It makes a difference how you identify this voice that talks to you … I have found that for those people who give it the name of the Lord it can’t be wrong. It is Spirit.” Fillmore shares: “In all your experiences see it spiritually and think about it spiritually. The forgiveness part is about forgiving ourselves our ignorance for it is just ignorance that makes us think such things as evil and ignorant states of consciousness.” He says our first prayer should be “Forgive me my ignorance.” He also says we should forgive ourselves for our thoughts of limitation.

This week’s talk given by Charles Fillmore was entitled “Review: Prophetic Vision Active.” It was given on Sunday, December 18, 1927.  Fillmore offers a perspective that both adds to metaphysical insight and complements our cultural/ historical study of the Bible. Fillmore suggests the prophets should be divided into the demonstrating and discerning prophets. Fillmore states that “religion is progressive, … But I can’t help but think that religion is evolutionary; that we evolve in spiritual understanding.“
 
In The Revealing Word we explored from “food” to “free will.”  Fillmore states, “… true forgiveness is only established through renewing the mind and body with thoughts and words of Truth.”

This week’s talk was delivered by Charles Fillmore on Sunday, September 3, 1933, and is titled, "Love Leads to Power." Fillmore differentiates among the fleshly love (the love of sensation), human love (love of family—father, mother, sister, brother, sweetheart) and spiritual love. The first two are essentially selfish, while spiritual love "forgets self in its desire to help others." Other interesting points Charles Fillmore makes include, "Man does give character to this universal either by his thought, and it is our thought that is the great transformer of our minds." He also shared that, “Our greatest need is to understand the law of thought, especially thought turned to love." Finally, at the end of the talk, Fillmore strongly emphasizes the importance of women and their love of peace that is helping to transform the world. "When the women of the land rise up in their might and demand the reign of love and peace in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, it will come to pass overnight."

This week’s talk, delivered by Charles Fillmore on November 30, 1913, is titled "The Necessity of Expression.” This is one of the most direct talks by Charles Fillmore. Fillmore concluded with this: "You have the power within yourself. ... Realize this and erase, through absolute denial, from your mind all that would seem to oppose it in the material, in the surroundings, [and] in the thoughts of your mind. Wipe it all away, and come rejoicing, giving thanks to the great I AM for your spiritual sight, for your understanding."

This week’s lesson is entitled, “The Distinguishing Trait of the Christ Mind,” and was given by Charles Fillmore on March 26, 1933. It is a review lesson that followed a series of 12. Fillmore starts out by saying there are several traits and alludes to the Twelve Powers. In the talk he distinguishes several types of Truth, from the Truth of Being to the Truth of the Sign. He states, “We must not only get an understanding of Truth, but we must demonstrate it.” He also touches on the meaning of prosperity. He also shares about Satan. Most interestingly, Fillmore stated, “Satan is that phase of thought in the human mind that forms personality. Satan is not essentially evil, but if allowed dominion in man’s consciousness, separates him from his spiritual source, God Mind."

In The Revealing Word, we reviewed from “evil” to “eyes, blind.” Next week we begin with the terms in letter F.
 

This week we explore a Charles Fillmore talk, entitled "Spiritual Identity," which was delivered on March 14, 1926. Fillmore shares a great deal about the ethers and the rays. He also references the Twelve Powers when he says, “We study the Scriptures in order that we may develop the great resources in our soul, but as directive and showing everyone of us where and how and through which we may come into a better understanding of those innate powers which exist in every soul." He concludes with this: “In your meditations, prayers, try to lay hold of the great invisible I AM. I Am the way. I Am the Truth, and I Am the life, in spiritual consciousness.”
 
In the third and final segment, we explore the entries in The Revealing Word, beginning with “Eden, Garden of” and ending with "ether.“
 

This week we explored a Charles Fillmore talk entitled, "Thanksgiving." It was given on Sunday, November 29, 1925. While the lesson does not relate well to the Scripture, this is a very good talk on the importance of giving. Fillmore shares, “If we give in the right attitude, we always receive. … We might begin in our giving by accompanying it with a cheerful, glad thought; begin with gladness.”
 
We wrap up with The Revealing Word, beginning with “doubt” and ending with the term “ecclesia.”
 

This week we finished exploring a talk given by Charles Fillmore on April 2, 1931, entitled "Weakness Changed to Power." A key idea from this talk is, “Everything that we do, everything that we think, everything that we work, everything that we say, represents some idea in the One Mind, the Source of all ideas.” Fillmore also shares: “There are two baptisms always: one of denial and the other of affirmation.”
 
Then we explored another talk entitled "Denials and Affirmations," given by Charles Fillmore on October 5, 1926. This very clear talk is full of great ideas. One being, “It means this denial just lets go. It unclasps, it’s clinching fear and releasing, dissipates and is lost in the great universal … Relax your idea in your mind. That’s denial.”

Listen in as we explore a talk given by Charles Fillmore entitled "Judgment Founded on Faith," given on July 16, 1923. Using the biblical story of Deborah, Fillmore shares about the relationship between the Powers of Judgment, Faith and Will. He also clarifies the difference between instinct (human intuition) and spiritual intuition. In The Revealing Word, we will explore from “Dominion” to “double-mindedness.”

In this episode we will explore a talk given by Charles Fillmore on the topic of the Power of the Word from June 3, 1925. Fillmore shares about how it is important for people to unload (get certain ideas out of their minds) as well as to be careful about the words we use. He also notes that originating Power comes from the Word or Divine Idea/Ideas in Divine Mind. In The Revealing Word we will study “disease” through “Divine Mind.”

The talk for this episode, “Judgment,” was given by Charles Fillmore on Wednesday morning, October 22, 1924. Some key ideas presented in this talk were the proper use of the Power of Judgment—righteous judgment, the definition of wisdom, the natural man and the spiritual man, and the awakening of discrimination. In The Revealing Word, we continued with the D’s, starting with “denial” through “discernment, spiritual.”

This episode’s talk, “Anointing,” was given by Charles Fillmore on July 19, 1923. This is the follow-up talk on the Sunday following the end of the healing conference given in early July of 1923. It is about how, when we grow spiritually, we get a kind of anointing of Spirit—a realization of a higher Truth. Then we begin living from that higher level. We’ll also discuss a couple of good examples of Metaphysical Bible interpretation.

In The Revealing Word, we’ll begin with the D's, starting with the first entry, “dainties, king’s” and continuing through “days, three.” This will be a rich sharing and expansion of the terms found in The Revealing Word.

In this episode, we will again begin to use the talks presented on Unity Classic Radio, hosted by Rev. Bob Brach. Our talk, “True Ambition,” was given by Charles Fillmore on May 7, 1928. Its central theme is to be in service to others. Once again in this talk, Fillmore emphasizes the importance of our understanding that we use God (Principle, Divine Ideas, Divine Laws) and that God does not use us.

After completing the talk, we will explore the remaining entries in The Revealing Word from “cross” to “curse.”

In this episode, we’ll begin the exploration of Lesson 12, “The Confession and Establishment of Faith,” given by Charles Fillmore during the first healing conference on July 15, 1923. This talk is basically about claiming our True Nature. Fillmore says, “I am the Son of God; I know I am.” Today, I believe, we would simply say "I am Christ." Fillmore shares some about what the personality is. The most stunning thing Fillmore says is this: “God doesn’t give us anything at all. We say God gives us everything. He doesn’t give us anything.”

Nex, we’ll continue our series from The Revealing Word. We’ll begin with the word, “courage,” and move through and the words “creative Principle.”

In this episode, we began the exploration of Lesson 10, entitled “Judgment and Justice,” given by Charles Fillmore during the first healing conference on July 13, 1923. Fillmore begins as he often does by reinforcing the concept that the totality of God is within man, humankind. He talks a little bit about the Twelve Powers in this way: “We want this Christ in us and we want all the faculties.” So our focus is on the Power of Judgment or Wisdom. The location is at the pit of the stomach. He wraps up the talk by telling us, “You must use judgment, discrimination, in what you eat. You must use judgment in judging other people.” Fillmore also said this: "God laid down a law and we have to conform to that law. If we do not conform to it, we suffer the consequences, but there isn’t a law calling down the law upon us."

In this episode we wrapped up the eigth lesson given in the 12-lesson series at the first Healing Conference. It focused on the Power of Imagination and how we use that to give shape and form to our bodies and our lives. One of the more interesting things Charles Fillmore shared is this: “Quit talking about yourself as belonging to the human family. You are the Son of God and you must affirm this Sonship.” Fillmore also affirmed, “Now God made me in his mind a perfect man-woman.” He went on to say, “I like to think of myself as being a woman as well as a man.”

Then we launch into the ninth lesson that was first given on July 12, 1923, entitled, “Will and Understanding.” In it, he focuses upon this concept: “Your will is the determining factor in your consciousness. That is, it determines your activity.” Fillmore begins to make the point of the importance of getting into the inner mind and realizing through understanding. Will and Understanding work together.

We will then look at a few terms found in The Revealing Word, beginning with the term, “consciousness” and ending with “consciousness, total.”

Join us as we explore two-thirds of the seventh talk in a series given at Unity’s first healing conference, originally given on July 9, 1923. It is entitled, “God.” Interestingly, Fillmore begins this talk being very anthropomorphic in his references to God. At times, he contradicts other positions he has taken in this series. For example, he clearly states that we use God. Here he talks about cooperating with God. Listen and find out how all this is resolved. The largest focus is on three of the Twelve Powers—Faith, Love and Understanding. It turns out that the way he is using Understanding in this talk is really the Power of Judgment.

We will then look at a few terms found in The Revealing Word, beginning with “concentration” and ending with “conscience.”

In this episode we explore the fifth talk in a series given at Unity’s first healing conference. It is entitled, “Mind.” In this talk, Fillmore explores the fundamental truth that “all is mind, the ideas of mind and their manifestations.” He states that “the material world is the result of this slowing down of mind ideas.” He shares about the fourth dimension as well as the great astral realm. We will then look at a couple of terms found in The Revealing Word, beginning with “communion” and ending with “companionship.”

In this episode we begin the third lesson in a 12-lesson series from the first Healing Conference hosted by Unity in July 1923. This third lesson is entitled “Truth,” but this is a title given by someone else, not Charles Fillmore. It begins by defining Truth and then Fillmore gives another definition of the term “Father": “just the realm of Infinite Idea, everywhere.” He then launches into an overview and metaphysical explanation of the first two chapters in the Hebrew Scriptures, Genesis 1 and 2. He shares his view on the process of creation both by God and humankind and how the process is exactly the same. He also shares how our thoughts affect our bodies.

In the finale of the program, we continue romping through The Revealing Word, beginning with the entry “Children of Israel” and continuing through “Christ, abide in.”

In this episode, we finished our romp through the first of the lessons given in 1923 on the subject of healing, in which Charles Fillmore shares about how we use God and God uses us. God is Spirit, Mind, Substance, Intelligence and Substance. We have to use understanding to become aware of this and that we are Spirit too. 

We will then explore more from The Revealing Word, beginning with “breath” and ending with “by night.” This will wrap up the letter B!

On today’s episode, we will explore a talk given by Charles Fillmore on March 13, 1927, entitled “Teaching Truth to the Entire Man.” The central theme is demonstrating ideas so that the Ideal Man, Spiritual Man, is demonstrated. This Spiritual Man is not a man at all; it is Christ—the Idea is made up of ideas. Fillmore refers to this as the super man and shares about the importance of dreams as the medium through which the Higher Self communicates to our personalities. Next we’ll wrap up the program with a romp through The Revealing Word, starting with “aura” and continuing through “awakening, spiritual.”

“Spiritual Unity,” delivered by Charles Fillmore on April 19, 1925, is based on Acts 4:32-37 and Acts 5:1-5. The main focus of this talk is how selfishness gets in the way our being the Christ we already are. Next, we launch into our romp with The Revealing Word beginning with the not-so-delicate term “ass” and end with the term “atonement.”

This week we explore a talk given by Charles Fillmore on February 9, 1913, entitled “The Reality of the Rainbow.” The talk revolves around the biblical story of Noah and the rainbow. Metaphysically, the rain is that which can block the awareness of the Oneness we already are. And it is by “building the Ark of the Lord” in consciousness that we see our way through to the rainbow. Then we will continue our exploration of The Revealing Word, starting with the term “altar, a fixed, definite center in consciousness,” and moving through “altar, golden, of incense.”

This week we delve into Charles Fillmore’s talk from Sunday, January 6, 1929, entitled “A Loving Providing Father,” based on Matthew 6:24-34. In it, Fillmore shares that our understanding of God is based on our own soul development. He also talks about his own experience of his dreams as the way he became aware of God, the reality of God. We will also tap into The Revealing Word, from “adjustment” to “affirmation, the act of.”

This episode features special guests Rev. Tom Thorpe and Rev. Linda Martella-Whitsett. We romp with several quotes from Charles Fillmore, ranging from his promoting the idea of keeping up with the times, to his own difficulty in his own use of the term "God," as he was concerned that using God would trigger the listener’s old beliefs about an external, male God. In the last segment, we discuss the Law of Attraction and how Unity’s take on it is very different from how it is commonly understood.

This week’s talk was given by Charles Fillmore on April 19, 1931, entitled “Poverty and Riches.” It focuses on the parable of the rich man and the beggar, Luke 16:19-31. Fillmore’s primary focus is how we get lost in our desire for the outer things of sense and the physical realm. In The Revealing Word, we begin with "accident" and move through and including “achievement, universal desire for.” You will find Rev. Tom Thorpe and I agreeing on disagreeing with Charles Fillmore on a couple of points.

This week we share a talk given by Charles Fillmore on March 5, 1933, entitled “An Awakening.” Fillmore shares about the healing nature of laughter and love, as well as eliminating limiting thoughts and people that collude with our negative thinking. We will also begin exploring and amping up The Revealing Word, and in it, explore “abate to Absolute, treating in the …” (Pg 8).

This week we explore a talk by Charles Fillmore originally delivered on Sunday, July 29, 1923, entitled “The Christ Consciousness of Increase.” Fillmore explores the Power of Will and relates it to prosperity. This is a talk about calling Matthew, who metaphysically represents the Power of Will, the ability to choose. In the talk, Fillmore relates the importance of denial and the importance of service in demonstrating prosperity.

This week we study Charles Fillmore’s talk given on February 22, 1931, titled “The Substance of Character.” It revolves around Luke 8:1 -15. This talk is about casting out demons, error thoughts, through the power of the word. He also explores the parable of the seeds being thrown on hard soil, amongst the rocks and amongst the thorns and on good soil. These represent states of consciousness that are not receptive to the seed ideas, Divine Ideas. However, we can rehabilitate them.

We explore a talk given by Charles Fillmore on December 11, 1932, entitled “Recreation and Relaxation.” Once again Fillmore emphasizes that it is humankind’s thoughts and feelings that are manifesting/creating the outer physical realm. The emphasis of the talk is on the subconscious mind, our natural “m” mind, and the importance of the Silence to form the basis for true recreation and relaxation.

This week we explore a presentation that was given at a Unity convention, in which the focus is on how Unity educates people to use Truth teachings, educating people so that they can overcome their own illnesses. Interestingly, Charles Fillmore says what we are teaching is not hocus-pocus and it is not copyrighted. In fact, he says, “We are telling you everything we know.” Then we turn to Chapter 32 in Heart-Centered Metaphysics, “Stumbling Blocks and Keys to Demonstrating Prosperity.”

This week we reviewed a welcome message given by Charles Fillmore to the first Unity Conference and Healing Revival. He explores the origins of Unity, both spiritually/metaphysically and in name. He emphasizes some of the basic, unifying Unity teachings. At one point, he even refers to it as a doctrine. Then we launched into Chapter 22 of Heart-Centered Metaphysics, entitled, “Stumbling Blocks and Keys to Demonstration.” Today’s focus was mainly around what demonstration is, followed by the concept that what we focus upon can block and hinder our prosperity. We also looked at fear and the negative side.

This week’s Charles Fillmore talk was given on July, 10, 1927, and is entitled “Samuel’s Admonition to Israel.” It is primarily about the Powers of Judgment/Wisdom and Will and how we have to use it from higher consciousness. This talk also focuses on how we are to use the Powers/Abilities on ourselves and not on others. Then we continue our discussion of the “Metaphysical Basis of Prosperity,” Chapter 31 from Heart-Centered Metaphysics. Topics include: True Prosperity, Substance, Supply, the Two-Step Approach to Prosperity, the Law of Increase, the Secondary Law of Increase, Living in Two Worlds, the Inner Approach to Increase, the Outer Approach to Increase and the Idea of Possession.

This week we explore a talk by Charles Fillmore given on December 5, 1926, entitled “The Love of the Natural Soul.” It is based on the Book of Ruth. We look at two kinds of Love: “kissing love” and “cleaving love.” Then we have an animated conversation about prayer with Rev. Linda Martella-Whitsett from Unity Church of San Antonio. We look at how the theologies from our childhood influence the way we pray and can hinder our understanding of Unity’s form of prayer.

This week we explore a talk from Charles Fillmore given on January 8, 1928, entitled “Spiritual Authority Over Error.” It focuses on Mark 1:21-34, when Jesus was healing in Capernaum. He focuses on the metaphysical definition of Capernaum as sympathy as well as having dominion over our thoughts and feelings. Learn what true sympathy, empathy and compassion are.

This week we explore a talk by Charles Fillmore given on July 27, 1913, titled "Increasing the Life Stream." Fillmore metaphysically interprets the story from John 5 about the man at the pool of Bethesda. It is about using the "I Am," the Christ, to rule over the ego/personality. It is about Spirit, soul and body. Fillmore shares the affirmation: The Christ I Am quickens and heals me.

This week we explore the Charles Fillmore talk from Sunday, September 4, 1932, entitled “Cause and Effect.” It is really about the choice of living from sense consciousness or higher consciousness. Then we discuss what happens when we die. This is followed by the beginning of our sharing about Life, wholeness and health. If there is only One Presence and One Power, then in some way or somehow “we” must be it!

This week we explore the Charles Fillmore talk from Sunday, March 28, 1926, entitled “Saving Messages of the Christ.” Fillmore emphasizes the importance of realizing what the Bible is saying, that it pertains to the developing our own consciousness, and that Jesus is our primary example. Further, there is an emphasis on the fact that our minds are always carving out of the invisible Life or substance. This was followed by wrapping up the chapter on “Stumbling Blocks and Keys to Demonstration.”

During the first segment we look at a talk given by Charles Fillmore on October 19, 1913, titled "Commandments to God." We explore the important difference between omnipresence and omnipotence. We also explore how, from our humanness, we have blasphemy backwards. We blaspheme when we say things like “I am poor; I am sick,” etc. Then we wrap our presentation on the Creative Process.

This week we explore a talk from Charles Fillmore given on April 2, 1933, titled "Mind Healing Demonstrated." It is based from Mark 7:24-37. Get a glimpse of what Fillmore believed about Jesus as well as Fillmore’s metaphysical interpretation of this Scripture. It basically revolves around the need to change our minds in order demonstrate healing. Then we launch into the chapter on the Creative Process from the new metaphysics text, Heart-Centered Metaphysics.

This week we explore a small portion of a talk given by Charles Fillmore on September 17, 1933, entitled “Conscious Mind and the Spiritual Law.” We discover Fillmore’s interpretation of the winged globe which was the logo for Unity for many decades. Then we launch into exploring the kingdom of God and the kingdom of Heaven and how we manifest from the unformed to the formed.

This week we explore a talk given on November 26, 1933, entitled “The One Foundation.” Fillmore said, “Let us give with our minds, with our hearts, and then we shall find that we shall come into a unity with the real Spirit.” Then we go on to the chapter on “Developing Our Twelve Powers.”

This week we explore a rather curious talk by Charles Fillmore given on May 22, 1932, entitled “Mind and Body Reunited.” Curious in that he seems to be saying some things that are contrary to other concepts he had indorsed. Then we continue our overview of the Twelve Powers from the new metaphysics text.

This week we explore the Charles Fillmore talk form April 1, 1928, entitled “Paying the Price.” In this talk, he focuses on Spiritual man and personal man, the significance of the Christ/Messiah and how everyone is focused on things and money. Interestingly, he makes a side comment about the financial frenzy that occurred in 1928 coming crashing down. Then, the remaining segments wrap up the chapter on Creation, looking at Divine Order and Co-creation. This is followed by an introduction into the Twelve Powers.

This week we explore a talk given on October 7, 1923, entitled, “The Activity of Faith in Man’s Unfoldment.” Ideas explored were faith, blessing and increasing, the day of judgment as well as “in the beginning.” Then we continue our exploration of Denials and Affirmations: Thoughts are Things, Keys to the Kingdom, Denial and Affirmations, Denial, How Denials Work and How to Use and Construct a Denial.

This week we explore a talk given by Charles Fillmore on April 29, 1928, titled "Our All for the Kingdom." It is about giving up attachments to money.

This week we explore a talk by Charles Fillmore entitled "True Unity in Christ." Two main ideas are presented: the importance of service and the importance of relying on the possession of ideas based on Christ and not on the possession of things based on personality. We then continue reviewing Spirit, soul and body.

This week we explore a Fillmore talk on Forgiveness and Repentance. The focus is on how they are a change of mind. Then we look at the three phases of mind: Superconscious Mind, conscious mind and subconscious mind.

Take a romping review of Unity’s teachings around prosperity. What did Jesus mean when he said the man was blind so that the works of God might be displayed in him? Why are some people born with birth defects and/or mental deficiencies? Is it always our own personal thoughts that give rise to illness or cause a drunk driver to hit us with their car? Who was Jesus? What is the Christ? Jesus Christ?

This week we continue looking at principles of Prosperity by reviewing the Inner and Outer approaches to Prosperity. We then continue our romp through the chapter on Sin, Evil and the Devil. This week’s focus is on the sins of Omission and Commission, Evil, Satan and the Devil as well as Temptation.

This week we continue to explore aspects of Unity’s Prosperity teachings. The focus is on Stewardship and the two-step process to Prosperity. Then, in our continuing series of reviewing the material in the upcoming metaphysics text, we explore chapter 14, "Sin, Evil and the Devil." Specifically we explore original goodness, origin of sin and evil, free will and sin.

This week we romp through a couple of concepts with regard to money and prosperity: the Money Idea and Money as symbol. We also move on to Chapter 12 on the Divine Paradoxes (Principle/Principle, Immanent/Transcendent, Father/Mother, and Law/Grace).

This week we explore some of the details of the metaphysical basis of prosperity including: True Prosperity, Living in Two Worlds and a bit about Substance. Then the first few section of Chapter 11 from the Metaphysics textbook (Spiritual Universe/Physical Universe) were examined. Topics include: Divine Ideas, Creation/Ideation of the Spiritual Universe, Spiritual Humankind—Christ, the Spiritual Body and the Physical Body.

This week we explore the chapter (from the Metaphysics textbook) on Beingness, Oneness, Divine Mind. We look at Divine Mind as well as Substance, Life, Love and Power. For example, God is Love; God is not Loving. These are all aspects of Divine Mind; they are the eternal Divine Ideas. We demonstrate how these concepts are useful in our everyday lives.

In this episode, we look at the phrase “Watch what you pray for, watch what you ask for.” Then we explore Unity’s take on praying with others. Just how do we pray with others using the Unity method?

This week we explore the phrase “Spirit will direct.” Then a success story from a listener is shared followed by a summary of the chapter from the new metaphysics text on the Silence. Finally, we explore the metaphysical underpinnings of Unity’s prayer method.

The phrase “Whatever will be will be” is explored during this week’s program. We then launch into exploring the Silence, one of the most, if not the most, important teachings Unity has.

This week we explore the phrase “Not my will, but God’s/God’s will, not mine.” We also wrap up the commentary on the chapter “Spiritual Evolution” from the new metaphysics textbook. Topics included crucifixion, resurrection, regeneration, eternal life, and reincarnation. Finally we launch into an introduction of the chapter devoted to Our Purpose, Divine Plan, Divine Will, and Divine Guidance.

This week we explore the phrase “Count it all joy!” from How to Let God Help You by Myrtle Fillmore. This is so much more than just wishful thinking or seeing through rose-colored classes. Then we launch into an exploration of self-knowledge and its importance as a spiritual practice. It is key to being aware of who we think we are and what we are—Christ.

The phrase explored this week is “Everything happens for a reason.” It was amped up to “I bring Reason to everything that happens.” Then we launch into a long-term series on the metaphysics text book. We explore metaphysics and truth, as well as the Absolute and relative realms and why it is so important and practical to understand the difference. We also look at Divine Ideas and the formative power of thought.

We explore the phrase “When the student is ready, the teacher is there.” We also take a deeper look at Divine Order/the power of Order and how we use it from sense consciousness and how we can use it from higher consciousness. Finally, we end with an indirect discussion of the Bible and its value. Are the stories historically true? Are the characters historically true? Does this matter? If Jesus was not real, then how do we know that we can obtain Christ Consciousness?

This week’s phrases are “These events were sent to test me. The universe is testing me.” We explore the power of Dominion and then look at the Unity I encounter as I teach and travel around the country, one I don’t believe in.

Each week Paul enjoys getting to the nitty-gritty of questions that are live or from emails. These questions help stretch the boundaries of our present awareness and beliefs. Basic spiritual principles that we must use are clarified and made simple to understand and use.

This week we explore the phrase “God is All.” And changed it to “God is All in the Absolute.” Then we explore a bit more about the physical universe, angels, tarot card readers, and the like. The program concludes by reviewing that we are the ocean and not simply a drop of the ocean. We are all the sand and not simply a grain of sand.

This week we explore the phrases “Surrender it to God,” and “I surrender this to God.” Topics explored this week are: the Ten Commandments, the Power of Strength, Absolute Truth, relative truth, and “who we pray to.”

"Let go, let God" becomes "leash ego, unleash my God Self." This change of the phrase brings us back to the awareness of Oneness and our own power in any given situation. We want to move the awareness of ego to the background while moving the awareness of Christ Nature to the foreground. We also explore degeneration, unregenerate, and regeneration. Some time is invested in looking at how to apply a Power in a general way followed by looking at the Power of Judgment.

We explore several sayings clustered around the concept of prayer. The phrases are: “This or something better,” “Do not pray for specifics,” and “Thy will be done.” These are amped up to be: “I claim this or something better,” and “My Will be done!” We play with re-languaging one sentence into the language of Oneness. We look at what spirit-soul-body might be in the context of regeneration and finally we introduced the power of Understanding.

This week we review the importance of the power of the Word and how we use language. Then we explore the phrase “Nothing good ever lasts.” We also review the Law of Attraction and finish up with the 12 Powers: Degeneration, Generation, Regeneration and Faith.

In this program we explore the concept of the mirror. I’ll respond to email questions from Eldon, who ask’s about will—free will, God’s will and our will. Also a question from Laura about Jesus.

We start off exploring the phrase “Be careful what you pray for.” We update to “Be sure your prayers are care-filled.” If anything, prayer should not be tinged with fear and guilt. And prayer is not so much about the goodies we get as it is about the Goodness we realize we are. Next we explore how we know we are ready. Then we look at visioning a bit more as well as how we go about “languaging” our understanding of spiritual Truths.

This week we explore two sayings: “Birds of a feather flock together” and “Opposites attract.” A bit more is shared on how Unity views the ego; “through the door of its consciousness must be passed all the treasures of God” (Keep A True Lent, pg. 55). Letting our spiritual nature determine whether something is Truth or not is also examined. Finally, we dive into the deep pool of who or what manifested and is manifesting the physical universe.

This week we looked at the phrase, "It blessed me." We looked at how this can be transformed in a very empowering way to "I blessed it." You are the point of power. During the remainder of the program, we explored our power of choice and just how God is involved in it ... or not. We also explored more about personality as well as "it is all Good and all God."

Today we explore the concepts of Divine Appointment and Divine Timing. Divine Plan and Divine Will are also explored. Along the way, the Absolute, the Relative and a bit about the Twelve Powers are looked at. At the end of the program, we begin to dive into a deeper understanding of the phrase “Let go, let God!”

During this program, the catch phrase, “We are the light of the world” is explored. The replacement phrase is “We illuminate the world.” Emails from viewers include a discussion about God-Will in decision-making processes with regard to another catchphrase, “It’s already done in Spirit.” The specific example looked at is a church looking to hire a minister. Is it preordained or not? The topics of crucifixion and resurrection are also looked at literally and metaphysically.

Today we look at the phrase “I attracted that to me.” It gets updated and modified to “I attracted myself to this.” This is also “hell” week as we explore evil, sin, Satan, hell, heaven, temptation and repentance.

The phrase "Thoughts held in mind produce after their kind" is explored in depth as this is a statement of the Law of Mind Action. The replacement phrase is “Thoughts and feelings held in consciousness create in consciousness.” Because the Law of Mind action is related directly to the Law of Cause and Effect, this is also explained primarily at the level of consciousness. Because life is consciousness, this is the most important level to understand. In consciousness, cause and effect are never separated.

The phrase we metaphysically explore this week is “It is what it is.” Then we launch into exploring the following topics: metaphysics in general, the power of the Word, life is consciousness, Charles Fillmore’s Invocation amped up to 21st-century language, metaphysical meaning of the Christmas Story, the power Dominion (of the Twelve Powers) and the Lord’s Prayer from the Aramaic, updated to the 21st century.
